Lemay, just outside of the city limits, was named to Fortune's list of the 100 Best Places to Live and Launch. It made the list because, according to Fortune, it's going to really wake up in the next few years with a new casino going in, as well as having excellent resources for entrepreneurs.
I have fond memories of Lemay - The St. Louis University High School played their home baseball games at Heine Meine field when I went to school there.

Wow, that is crazy. I consider Lemay (at least parts of it) to be pretty rundown and undesirable to live in. Looks like I may be changing my tune in a couple years.
