What do YOU want to know about?
To the three people that are reading this: is there anything you are curious about? Anything you have been dying to know? Got a question you want answered? Ask ME. If I don't know the answer, I will find out - I love learning new stuff. If you have a question about real estate, remodeling, a building you saw for sale, an empty plot of land - ANYTHING. Shoot me an email or drop me a comment!

There must be more than three people reading this blog??!
Anyways, I am Yara, I know your blog through your lovely wife, and since you are an expert i was wondering something..
We bought a house in Overland for x amount of money last June, our agent told us that we made a good deal because we bought the house below market value...we believed her...we gutted our bathroom and redid it totally from ceiling to floor, and changed doors (put 6 panel doors up)and removed the carpet in the whole house and refinished the floors...
We are afraid we spent too much money on the house and though it needs some more work we are not sure if we should invest more because we don't know if we will ever see our money back...
We have been looking at house in the area to compare prices and they are WAY lower than what we paid for our house but these are not updated houses...
When do we know when to stop spending money to improve our house?
If you have an answer that would help immensely!
Yara
ps: pictures of our house,if you need to take a look, are in the first post on my blog dated back from December 2007!
Oh I definately have a question. It's random, but you probably know the answer.
Does adding fencing generally add to home resale value? We are looking into getting a very nice privacy fence for our dog and to cover some cosmetic issues in the back yard.
I think we will probably do it regardless, I was just curious.
Thanks for the questions! Look for a post regarding both of these (hopefully later today!)
Here's a question: Are there any great "First Time Home Owners" incentives in St. Charles County? If so, are any of them available to those that ARE able to make a down payment? We're starting to feel like since we've been fiscally responsible that there are fewer "perks" for us! Thanks!
Now we know at least 4 people are reading this!
I was wondering what you thought about the Tower Grove area, specifically the south section. I have heard many people talk about how it is up-and-coming, with several store fronts being renovated into places like 3 Monkeys and the grocery store. Where do you think it will be in 5 years?
I know I am late, but I have a question, this is something that has been bugging my husband and I, maybe you know the answer:
On the North side of 370, between St. Louis Mills and the Missouri River there are a series of small buildings, with lights and fences. What are they? They've gone up over the past year. Guesses so far include a golf driving range and skeet shooting range, but neither of those seems to be a perfect fit. (Why would you need a tiny building for each station at a driving range?)
