Blog-reader Beckie wrote and inquired about the series of small buildings located on the north side of Interstate 370, between St. Louis Mills and the Missouri River. Her possible guesses were a driving range, or a skeet shooting range.
Beckie was right on par with her guess. The buildings she inquired about make up the Gateway Gun Club. Construction on the Club has taken quite awhile as the owner is apparently having many issues with permits.
Each building that Beckie has seen constructed over the past year or so consist of a "shed," per se, that serves as the point for the machine that shoots out the clay pigeons. So, each building serves as an individual shooting station. The club has not officially opened yet.
